Dear Clients and Business Partners
During this time of unprecedented uncertainty regarding the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, all of us here at NVS would like to provide you with more information regarding the necessary steps we have taken to ensure business continuity by providing the best possible legal services under the circumstances.
Our firm has put in place measures to allow most NVS employees to work remotely to ensure limited disruption in our service to you. Unfortunately, there are several services we will not be able to provide due to the closure of all non-essential service providers and intuitions such as SARS, the Master of the High Court, the Deeds Office amongst others.
Please note however that the courts will remain open for urgent applications involving matters of maintenance and domestic violence, urgent bail applications and other children related matters. In this regard please note that our firm will not be accepting service of any hard copies of any documents. In all of our matters we will be effecting and receiving service of all legal processes via electronic delivery (via email to info@nvsinc.co.za ), as provided for in Rule 17(3)(d) and Rule 19(3)(b) of the Uniform Rules of Court. Please do not attempt to serve hard copies of pleadings, notices, bundles, etc. at our offices. Please email everything to the abovementioned email address, and we will ensure that everything is attended to.
We would like to assure you that we will continue to service your needs as best we can in this time of uncertainty, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and co-operation. If you have any further questions about our response to COVID-19, please contact us on our normal landline number 012 807 1989, or via our email address info@nvsinc.co.za or visit our website www.nvsinc.co.za . For any urgent matters, kindly contact our Operations Officer, Rianda Geyer, on 062 791 9282 who will then direct your call accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
NVS
